Product Description
The DeepSleep Auto was developed for use in vehicles. Thanks to its special shape with recesses at the sides, it fits perfectly into the car and makes optimal use of the available space. Within our range of 3D mats, the DeepSleep stands out for its compact pack size and light weight.
The 3D construction creates a particularly large sleeping surface. The 7.5 cm thick foam core ensures a comfortable and stable sleeping surface. The outer material is made of soft polyester. It is particularly durable and feels pleasantly soft against the skin.
The DeepSleep Auto is self-inflating. You can give it a little help using the top-up pump supplied to achieve your desired firmness. The large flat valves allow for particularly quick and easy deflation. A large bag is included in the scope of delivery for easy packing.

Climate protection with myclimate
Since 2021, EXPED has been supporting certified myclimate climate protection projects through a financial contribution. Together with the nonprofit organization, we have calculated the carbon footprint of all our products and our operations at our Zurich location. Our annual contribution is based on this calculation - but it does not change the carbon footprint itself.

Oeko-tex certified material
Oeko-Tex® is a testing and Certification system for raw materials and finished products. All materials of this product which are accordingly labelled are tested and certified according to the Oeko-Tex® standard.
All EXPED textile products are made without intentionally added PFAS since 2025. We work closely with suppliers and perform independent tests to ensure our products contain zero PFAS.
5 years years on defects in materials and workmanship
R-value is a measure of thermal resistance. It indicates the efficiency of insulation by measuring its resistance to heat transfer. The higher the number, the slower the rate of heat transfer through an insulation.
In EXPED sleeping mats, higher R-values help sleepers retain the heat their bodies generate and the result is the pleasant and sometimes elusive condition called warmth.
Good to know: ISO-rated sleeping bags are tested with 7R mats. EXPED recommends using a sleeping mat with an R-Value of at least 6.5 or higher to ensure your sleeping bag provides the warmth it is rated for.
We recommend storing the rolled-out mat with both valves open in a dry, cool place, such as under the bed.
We recommend cleaning the mat with warm water and a mild detergent (no bleach!). Carefully clean the mat with a cloth or soft sponge. Make sure all valves are completely closed. Rinse well. The mat should be allowed to air dry after cleaning. DO NOT put your mat in a washing machine or dryer.

Not suitable for children under the age of three. Choking hazard as the product is impermeable to air and contains small parts that can be swallowed.
Warning Repair Kit
The glue in the repair kit contains solvents and is flammable! Keep it away from open flames and heat sources! Use the adhesive only in well-ventilated areas and avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes! In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Store the adhesive out of reach of children in a cool, dry place!
